This one-week camp is for students ages 7 and up and will include structured, concrete theatre games that use the voice, body and imagination as well as rehearsal towards a small production at the end of the week.
All students will be cast and the show chosen will include verbal and non-verbal parts which can be adjusted for individuals at any ability. Students will be allowed to either memorize the script or use it during the performance and I will ask for volunteers to help hold scripts during the show.
Students will also create simple props, costumes and set pieces and, in some sessions, will perform additional songs or sound effects.
The aim of this production is for the students to have fun performing in a safe comfortable environment for their family and friends.

When:    June 29th – July 3rd with a performance on the 3rd.
Time:      9:30am-12:00 noon
Where:   The Strand Theater, 210 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839
Cost:      Free for UNYAA members, non-UNYAA members $35 for the week
